Traditional Styling with a Contemporary Twist

Description

Hunter Herald 5 ECO. A Traditional Looking Wood Burner with a Contemporary Twist.

The Hunter Herald 5 ECO has a proven heritage. It’s been a popular choice in UK homes for many years. This latest version has a new exterior design and many internal improvements. A Large glass window and airwash technology gives you an impressive view of the flames. The results – a warm orange glow across the whole bed of the firebox.

With its classic styling, the Hunter Herald 5 ECO looks at home in a wide range of interior settings. Hidden door hinges add to the clean design. Detailing like the curved top door and bevelled trim match the curved legs. The legs raise the stove from floor level or if preferred, the Herald can sit on a bench.

This latest version of the Hunter Herald 5 ECO has an enviable efficiency. Designed to be both ECO Design 2022 compliant and DEFRA approved, it is 78% efficient.

You can expect an output range of between 4.2 – 7kW. The nominal heat output to room is 5kW. This makes it ideal for medium sized rooms.

Controlling the stove couldn’t be easier. A simple slider located under the plinth, slides to adjust the output of heat. It has a steady and attractive flame pattern and air wash which helps keep the glass clean.

The Herald also benefits from a riddling grate and ash pan to remove ash when cold.
If you need a Herald with a smaller footprint The Hunter Herald 4 ECO is an excellent alternative. The Herald 5 Slimline offers a similar proportions but a shallower depth if space is a concern.
