ESSE Lightheart Cook Stove. Small but Perfectly Formed

It is like the award-winning ESSE Ironheart range-cooker but smaller. Meet the Esse Lightheart wood-fired cook stove.

All the style and performance of the original in a miniature version. Fry, saute, roast and bake on this tried and tested design, featuring the signature Esse dog-bone shaped hotplate. A sturdy steel and cast iron body with a generous 47 litre oven enables the Lightheart to heat quickly and cook food effectively. Despite its more compact size, the Esse Lightheart cook stove can comfortably heat a room up to 50 cubic meters, making it ideal for yurts, shepherds huts and cabins. The wraparound heatshield kit also allows you to reduce the required distance to combustible materials.

It is no wonder ESSE is the cooker of choice for those seeking a wood-fired alternative and the preferred brand at River Cottage.
