Description

The Esse 550. Discreate, Smart and Easy on the Eye

The unfussy, clean design of the ESSE 550 stove features cleaner lines and new longer legs. An oversize door glass gives an enticing view of the flames as they dance in the firebox. Based on the super-efficient 500 model, the 550 is a tall, dark and handsome stylish new addition to the range. Proven technology developed over Esse’s 160 year history gives this 5kW stove its high efficiency level, also making it DEFRA exempt for use in smoke controlled areas.

Inspired by the Esse Ironheart cooker, the minimalist look of this modern wood burning stove makes it ideal for urban industrial chic open-plan living spaces. Primary and secondary air controls allow for precision and controllability while creating some  unique flame patterns. It is also suitable for use on a decorative 12mm hearth.

Featuring a twin position grate, this stove can be both a wood burning and multi fuel appliance. An optional rear flue box allows for flexibility and easy installation.
