In March our Technical Sales Advisor Tim Dennis (far left) and team, who trekked 16 gruelling miles in the dark across Exmoor for the Rotary StarTrek challenge. The event raised over £40K for Children’s Hospice South West, North Devon Hospice, and the Chemotherapy Appeal.

Quite often you’ll find Rangemoors supporting and sponsoring local charitable events. More often than not it’s our employees, who out of personal choice, look to sign up for these charity days and raise money for some well deserving and excellent causes. In acknowledgement of this, we have highlighted some of their achievements and equally the worthwhile charities they have supported.

In recognition of the incredible life and fund raising of Stephen Sutton, the Rangemoors team came together to show their support for this inspirational young man. The symbolic thumbs up gesture became synonymous with his fundraising efforts.
Ruby Run – Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF)
Sunday 8th June saw the return of the Ruby Run, half-marathon. In hot conditions a team of past and present employees and their partners took on the 13+ mile trek from Holsworthy to Hatherleigh, raising money for the Exeter Leukaemia Fund. Find out more about ELF here www.elfcharity.org.uk
Sponsored Head Shave – North Devon Chemotherapy Appeal
Well done to our Storeman and resident comedian Colin and his wife Jo, who, with friends and family in mind, underwent a headshave in aid of North Devon Chemotherapy Appeal. An estimated £1,500 raised for this amazing charity. Well Done!
Race for Life – Cancer Research
In July, Sales Assistant Tracey, along with friends, family and hundreds of others, raised money for Cancer Research by taking part in the Race for Life.
Exmoor Mountain Bike Challenge – North Devon Hospice
In November, Rangemoors sponsored the 2014 Exmoor Mountain Bike Challenge at Wimbleball lake – Dulverton. 120 riders turned out on a beautiful sunny Exmoor day, raising an estimated £10K for the North Devon hospice.
Christmas Jumpers – Save The Children

Night Walk – North Devon Hospice
Over 1,000 ladies took part in this year’s annual North Devon Hospice Nightwalk. The 2016 theme was ‘Let yourself glow’ and the Rangemoors team ‘Happy Feet’ once again signed up for the 11 mile walk from Instow to Barnstaple – completing it in an impressive 3hr 20min. Charity Golf Day – Save the Children
