The Antefocus Wood Burning Fireplace. The original Focus.
The Antefocus Wood was Dominique Imbert’s first fireplace creation. It dates back to 1967 and he made it for his own personal use.
This seminal model was originally designed to pivot. It became the prototype for the Gyrofocus in 1968 and the springboard for the entire Focus range.
The Antefocus Wood is hand-made to order. It’s manufactured from polished raw steel with visible welding seams. These seams emphasise the crafted quality of the appliance.
This fireplace features a wide opening of 1.9 metres. The fire sits on cast iron grid which allows air to pass under the fuel for efficient burning.
The semi-elliptical design will make it a captivating focal point to any room. This fireplace is available as a wall mounted or suspended appliance. It has a nominal heat output of 5.5KW.
Each unit is individually numbered and signed. This adds a personal touch and reflects the attention to detail found in all Focus products.
Proudly made in France.
